E-SCAN is a software function available on all CONNEX devices that can provide an initial analysis of the high-voltage battery of electric and hybrid vehicles.
It can be accessed directly by selecting the electric or hybrid model supported: a dedicated section where battery parameters such as the min. and max. temperature and cell voltage are collected and reported in a standardized way, regardless of the vehicle model.

What is CARA?
CARA (Car Remarketing Association Europe) is the leading international non-profit organization for the European used car market. It has developed a certification standard to assess the health of batteries (SoH) in used electric vehicles, which account for up to 60% of the value of a used car.

The E-SCAN function, allows key parameters on battery pack performance to be retrieved in a matter of seconds, providing a reliable health index. CARA certification confirms the high quality of the scan results, validated by rigorous testing under the supervision of TÜV, and guarantees customers high standards that are recognized throughout Europe.
